I mentioned the bat wings on the legs as bad, and for that, they are shoved behind the legs in robot mode. I'll post pictures once it's here, once he's complete. I was aware of the MASSIVE gap in plane/ship mode and as usual, and I have a kit already on it's way (picked the folding section with the feet fillers kit). I'm not a fan of the styling of the Marvel face (never was a fan of the comic artist's style that was overly comical/whimsical about adding stupid "details" to his stuff, and in this case, the bat wings on the legs are just bad.), but the review and pictures took me to the fine line of "maybe I will get it" which happened. I was on the fence for this guy but he's another that's not been available easily so I said screw it as I has some store credits and a gift card with some numbers on it so he cost me something like 10$. Once more, not a complaint per se, but I’ve never seen a weapon of such… unique thinness? Is this a homage to something comic related (I know roughly of his existence in the comics, but little more), or just a cost/material saving tactic? The thing is, the design is nice, it looks great… from a side perspective. Again, not a complaint, but is mine an error, or was the glossiness I perceived a product/illusion of/brought on by photography?ī) What’s with the smaller gun? I never noticed in the handful of pics/reviews I saw that it was as thick as 3 sheets of notebook paper. stiffness, etc etc etc…), but I definitely have a couple questions:Ī) from all the pics I’ve seen, his head (especially) looked like a glossy paint, but mine is most definitely more of a matte finish. I have no real gripes, everything is fine with him (tolerances, articulation, tabbing, looseness vs. I wasn’t initially going to, but for $16 and some change OoP, why not? I dig him and he will officially replace that orange T30 dude in my G2 ‘Con display.
Decided to actually pick this guy up today since I had some cheese on a gift card.
